The Vacancy Chart is a custom Power BI visual designed to depict a building’s floor plan in a clean, data-driven format. This visual stacks rooms as proportionally sized rectangles organized by floors, allowing users to instantly evaluate room occupancy, status changes, and available space.
Each floor is clearly labeled on the left side of the chart, while individual rooms are drawn to scale based on their area. This approach provides a quick, at-a-glance understanding of occupied, vacant, and expiring rooms, making it ideal for facility management, office space planning, and real estate visualization.
